Volunteer Spotlight: Austin Grimes

Austin has lived in Palmer nearly all her life, graduated from Palmer High School, and can be found at UWMS events like Stuff the Bus annually, sometimes with her two children as helpers.

Austin served on the UWMS Board of Directors for six years, bringing her perspective as a lifelong Palmer resident, former Valley student, and parent to our team. As an educator at Academy Charter School, Austin also spends many hours in and out of the classroom dedicated to providing support for her students.

Although her tenure on the UWMS Board is up, and we will miss her smiling face greatly, we know that Austin will remain one of our most dedicated supporters. We look forward to seeing her at events to come and around Palmer.
