UWMS Supports A New Family Support Center for the Mat-Su

We are happy to support our friends at Beacon Hill/Safe Families for Children in preparing their Family Support Center, a first for the Mat-Su!

The contact space will provide an area for families to conduct supervised visitation, as well as a central location for foster parents and other volunteers to increase family contact for parents working to reunify with their children.

 

UWMS has provided funds to furnish and stock the space with comfortable, inviting furniture and security cameras/lighting.

We are excitedly awaiting the grand opening of the Family Support Center and see its benefit to the community for years to come.
