#tbt to our annual “UW Fourth of July Golf Tournament”!

This article (from the Valley Sun-a journalistic throwback!) congratulates the winners of the 1994 Tournament: Girl Scouts of Alaska, sponsored by City Mortgage.

A traveling trophy was given to the tournament champion each year, to be displayed for the next 12 months.

The tournament was a fantastic fundraiser! In 1994, teams raised over $3,500 to support UWMS programs. Held at beautiful Palmer Golf Course, participants from around the Valley teed off, in advance of our annual Campaign Kickoff.
