We are proud to support our fellow Mat-Su nonprofits through our Community Impact Grant program. We are very excited to announce that the application for our 2026 Community Impact Grants is OPEN!
TO APPLY:
UWMS Community Impact grants support local nonprofits and initiatives that are working to improve lives and make a meaningful impact across the Mat-Su Borough.
Application guidelines and overview information:
- Must be a Mat-Su based 501 c3 nonprofit
- Requests are limited to $7,500 per agency
- Please submit a letter of interest and:
- Describe alignment with an UWMS Strategic Focus Area: Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, Financial Security or Community Resiliency
- Project/Program Overview
- Detailed Budget Request
- Limited to five pages total

Awards contingent on availability of funds.
