Thrive Mat-Su is pleased to offer funding opportunities to the community. Applications for 2022 Thrive Mat-Su Funding and Block Party Grants are now open!

What is a Block Party Grant? Neighborhood Block Parties are a great way to connect with friends, neighbors and residents in your neighborhood. Block Party Grants, up to $500, are intended to help you plan and host a Block Party that invites people to come together, share fun activities and increase neighborhood security, safety and interaction. (Please note that Block Party Grants do NOT cover the costs of food/drinks.) Use the Block Party Toolkit to help plan and host your Block Party!

Thrive Mat-Su Funding Requests: Thrive Mat-Su funding supports agencies in providing programming, services, trainings, and other activities that promote and impact youth substance use prevention, as well as facilitate positive youth development through a variety of factors.

The Thrive Mat-Su Youth Retreat is a beloved gathering for local youth. Registration for the 2022 Youth Retreat, held at beautiful North Star Bible Camp, is now OPEN. Text “YOUTHRETREAT” to (907)745-5826. Space is limited! Ages 12-18 only.

  Thrive Mat-Su is seeking certified lifeguards to staff the retreat. Paid position with mileage compensation! To learn more, contact Becky Stoppa.
