United Way of Mat-Su heads many coalitions, initiatives and campaigns around the Valley.
Here are our current efforts:
Thrive Mat-Su leads a data-driven coordinated community response to prevent and reduce underage substance use.
Early Childhood Partnership of Mat-Su
Our focus is engaging families and involving them in early learning, fostering community recognition of the importance and value of early childhood education.
Be [You] is a statewide media campaign that seeks to prevent and reduce underage drinking among youth by challenging the misconception that most teens drink alcohol.

Bringing community organizations, local businesses, and government agencies together to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters, either natural or man-made.
Alaska Wellness Coalition
Alaska Wellness Coalition envisions communities throughout Alaska where individuals thrive in an environment that supports healthy choices.
Creating vibrant public spaces with permanent art for all.
Bringing permanent, accessible public art to the Palmer core area.
Ensuring Valley little ones have enough food for their weekends.
Fighting weekend food insecurity in daycare-aged children.
Stuff the Bus
Our United Way Day of Action makes services available to help kids learn and provides school supplies at no charge.
