You may have heard a bit about United Way and Community Impact efforts. Through the United Way's Community Impact work, United Ways focus on select, priority issues in which it can work with partners to create lasting changes for positive impact on our community's future. It’s not just about meeting today's needs, but developing strategies to address root causes and deliver positive results for the future.
As we begin our journey toward community impact, the United Way of Mat-Su is working with local partners to develop a Community Impact Plan that will identify our residents' greatest concerns and begin developing strategies to effectively address them. The most important first step in this process is to get input from our donors, volunteers, agencies and others who live in the Mat-Su.
